Why Theology in Three Minutes?
Three minutes is a very short time - just barely enough time to boil an egg. My thought is that, even with the busy schedules that everyone has, it should not be difficult to carve out three minutes to learn something about the Catholic Faith. Interestingly enough, my patron saint for this site, St. Francis de Sales, wrote in the preface to Treatise on the Love of God that the Bishop of Vienna advised him to "always be short in the chapters...those who know that there is but little distance between the beginning and end of a chapter do willingly undertake to read it, which they would not do though the subject were never so delightful, if a long time were required for the reading of it." When it comes to learning more about the Church founded by Jesus Christ, three minutes is just long enough!
